ARRI Rental opens new lighting and grip equipment facility in Vienna

• New 750 sqm facility complements the existing ARRI Rental Vienna office, which supplies camera equipment packages

Convenient location adjacent to new hq7 studios

July 3, 2024; Vienna ARRI Rental announces the expansion of its service offerings in Vienna, Austria, with the opening of a new facility supplying lighting and grip equipment as well as logistics to productions of all types and sizes. Camera equipment will continue to be offered through the existing ARRI Rental Vienna office.

Located at 7 Haidequerstraße 6, 1110 Wien, the new ARRI Rental facility is located on the premises of the state-of-the-art hq7 studios complex, which will open this summer as a premiere European production center, capable of accommodating major international film and TV productions. The area is ideal for easy access to the airport, central station, and city center.

ARRI Rental’s new Vienna facility covers 750 square meters of floor space and can supply cutting-edge lighting and grip equipment, including the latest ARRI lighting fixtures such as SkyPanel X and Orbiter, as well as ARRI Rental exclusives such as the modular BrikLok LED lights, all-terrain HEXATRON crane vehicle, and compact Hover Dolly with versatile Delta Tracks.

As Head of ARRI Rental Vienna, Andreas Buchschachner will manage the new facility in addition to the existing one, supported by lighting expert Ingo Gaertner. Buchschachner comments, “By expanding our presence in Vienna, we are demonstrating our belief in the city as a major European production hub. We have been renting equipment in Vienna for many years and we have strong relationships here; we’re proud to be supporting the local industry as it continues to grow.”
