• Dancer MT Pop from Saigon takes the crown at the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final 2024 in Mumbai, India.
• The popper is Vietnam’s first-ever Red Bull Dance Your Style World Champion, and only the fourth dancer in history to earn the global title.
• After 145 events in 48 countries, the world’s top 16 dancers competed for the prestigious Red Bull Dance Your Style World Champion title.
November 9, 2024 – Vietnamese popping sensation MT Pop conquered a crowd of 5,500 at Mumbai’s NSCI to secure the title of Red Bull Dance Your Style 2024 World Champion. Competing against elite dancers from across the globe, he clinched victory with his high-energy performance, culminating in an electrifying showdown against France’s hip-hop dancer Rubix in the final.
This year’s Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final brought together 16 of the world’s finest dancers in an exhilarating, one-on-one battle format where competitors must dance to unpredictable hits from funk, pop, rock, hip-hop, disco, and more. With no judging panel, pre-choreographed routines, or pre-selected music, competitors had to demonstrate exceptional skill, musicality, and stamina to win over the audience and secure their votes.
“There are a lot of emotions right now, I am super happy and excited”, MT Pop said. “We are here for the love, for the culture and for the dance. We don’t speak the same language but here tonight we shared a language and a message with dance. For me it was a really an honor dancing with all the competitors, it was a special moment in my life”, he said.
Hosted by South African star Candice Modiselle and iconic Indian dancer Melvin Louis, this year’s event welcomed eight pre-final winners and eight wildcards from around the world, creating an intense bracket of global talent. “This was probably one of the best battles I did this year. There was a lot of hype and energy around me”, said the runner-up Rubix.
The first Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final took place in Paris, France, in 2019, where Dutch dancer Shinshan claimed the inaugural title. In 2022, Japan’s The D Soraki dazzled the audience and judges at the World Final in Johannesburg, South Africa. Last year, Waackxxxy from South Korea made history as the third winner and first female World Champion. MT Pop now joins this elite group as only the fourth dancer to ever win the coveted global title.
The next Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final will light up Los Angeles, USA, on October 11, 2025.

From hip hop to house, and to locking to popping – dancers participating in Red Bull Dance Your Style need to ‘wow’ the crowd and ultimately win their vote.
